The WeChat iOS version has get the 7.0.10 update, with the changelog stating "solving some known issues" while the much-anticipated Dark Mode is still absent.
Dark Mode is a new feature added to Android 10 and iOS 13. When Dark Mode is turned on, the entire system will turn black, and the input methods, APPs, and text content that adapt to it will also change color, which is very suitable for night use.
Last month, the beta version of WeChat 7.0.10 was released for the Android platform. One of the major highlights of the new version is the addition of "Dark Mode" support.
When the phone turns on Dark Mode, WeChat will turn on Dark Mode simultaneously. When the phone turns off Dark Mode, WeChat will automatically return to normal mode.
The Dark Mode has covered most of the user interface such as login interface, adding friends, circle of friends, chat interface, expression window, voice call, WeChat payment, friends watching, shortcut menu and so on.
In addition to the background turning black, the text and icon colors have also been adapted accordingly. It still looks very harmonious and does not feel too obtrusive.
