The Infinix brand of Transsion, known as the king of African smartphones, will launch a mobile phone with a pop-up selfie lens in February 2020. The phone will sell in India for less than 10,000 rupees (about $139), according to CNMO.
Considering that pop-up cameras are more common on higher-priced smartphones, this smartphone will be designed to have an edge over competitors.
The report said that the smartphone will use MediaTek processor and will be used to launch a new mobile phone series.
Infinix launched the S5 Lite in India in November 2019 for Rs 7,999. Like other mobile phone products of the brand, Infinix S5 Lite focuses on price/performance.
Infinix S5 Lite is equipped with a 6.6-inch HD + display with a punched design and a screen aspect ratio of 20:9.
This smartphone is powered by a 2GHz eight-core MediaTek Helio P22 SoC, with 4GB of storage and 64GB of built-in storage, and a microSD card slot for expansion, running Android 9.0 Pie.
