A server and desktop production lines set up by Huanghe Technology Group using Huawei’s Kunpeng chips were put into production, and the first product delivery ceremony was recently held in Xuchang City, Henan Province.
On November 2 last year, Xuchang City was listed as a Kunpeng device production base, and it took only two months to achieve product production and delivery.
Huanghe Kunpeng servers and desktops are based on Huawei chips. The annual output is expected to reach 100,000 servers and 600,000 desktops in 2020, and the numbers will reach 300,000 and 5 million in three years.
"Kunpeng" is a new strategy proposed by Huawei for the future computing industry, and "Huanghe Kunpeng" is an important cooperation between Huawei and Henan in the development of digital economy strategy.
Huanghe Technology Group will also join hands with Huawei to launch Henan-branded "HUANGHE" terminal products based on Kunpeng chips and Euler operating systems, with mass production in May 2020 and large-scale production capabilities.
Previously, it was reported that Huawei is planning to enter the consumer desktop PC market, and has already started market research. It is equipped with a Huawei self-developed Kunpeng 920S processor, up to 64GB of memory, and an independent graphics card.
