Xiaomi announced on Weibo on Thursday that a 5G joint innovation laboratory was jointly launched by Xiaomi and China Telecom.
Cui Baoqiu, vice president of the Xiaomi Group and chairman of the group technical committee, said that the three major technologies of 5G, AI and IoT have ushered in a historic confluence, and 5G + AIoT will truly become a part of public life.
Xiaomi and China Telecom will give full play to the advantages of technology, network, products and ecology, jointly strengthen the pre-research on 5G-related technologies and products, and incubate more 5G consumer products.
