After selling more than 10 million units to become China's No. 1 TV maker, Xiaomi hopes to replicate this success in India.
In 2019, Xiaomi TV's Chinese market shipments exceeded 10 million units, becoming the first TV brand in TV history to exceed 10 million annual shipments in China.
Li Xiaoshuang, general manager of Xiaomi TV Department, said that the reason behind this lies in the Xiaomi model of "Internet + hardware + new retail".
He believes that the online and offline circulation efficiency of Xiaomi's new retail can deliver Xiaomi TV directly to users, reducing intermediate links to benefit consumers.
He also said that in 2020 Xiaomi will remain its position in China and will become No.1 TV makers in India. The ultimate goal is to be the No. 1 in the world, he said.
