China Unicom announced today that it will launch eSIM services that support one number for two devices nationwide from January 1, 2020.
Soon after that, Xiaomi said that Mi Smart Watch became the first batch of smart watches officially certified by China Unicom. From January 1, 2020, users can apply for eSIM services through designated channels.
Beijing Unicom has officially launched the eSIM (virtual SIM card) test. Apple Watch users who support one number for two devices can start the experience for free. The experience period is 12 months, and there is no activation fee and monthly feature fee.
After the end of the trial period, from the next month, each subsidiary terminal will charge a function fee of 10 yuan per month.
