Xiaomi TV has completed the goal of selling 10 million units in the Chinese market in 2019 in advance, Jiang Cong, general manager of Xiaomi China's sales operations, said on Weibo on Monday.ย

Jiang Cong's Weibo said: "I wanted to announce it after the new year, but I couldn't help but be excited! Xiaomi TV has completed the target of 10 million units in the Chinese market in 2019 !!! This is a new in the history of Chinese TVย  Milestone. Xiaomi TV China is the first stable in 2019. "

Redmi TV public relations manager @Redmi ๆฝ˜่พพ forwarded Jiang Cong Weibo to congratulate: "Wow! Congratulations to friends! Achieved the unprecedented 10 million units of achievements! But still have to state: Xiaomi TV's 10 million records do not include Redmiย  Mi TV! "

Last week, Lei Jun publicly stated that 10 million units were shipped in a year, an unprecedented record in the history of Chinese television.

On December 24, well-known analyst Wang Guanxiong launched a ten thousand yuan betting on Weibo: "Hisense has not done it for 40 years, Skyworth has not done it for 30 years, and TCL has not done it for 38 years.ย  Xiaomi has only been doing TV for 6 years, and it has been selling online. I am betting 10,000, I ca nโ€™t do it. "And he mentioned Lei Jun, Wang Chuan, Li Xiaoshuang and other Xiaomi executives in the bet.ย

Subsequently, Li Xiaoshuang, the general manager of Xiaomi's TV department, took on the challenge. He said: "Nobody has done it for decades, which does not mean that Xiaomi must not be able to do it. If you want to bet, you will bet even bigger! If Xiaomi's TV shipments exceed 10 million this yearย  , I will pump 100 TVs for everyone !!! With less than a week left this year, it is almost a little bit.

According to AVC's omni-channel data monitoring, from January to November 2019, Xiaomi TV's cumulative sales volume ranked first in China, surpassing established TV manufacturers such as Skyworth, Hisense, TCL, Changhong, and Konka.
