Tesla delivers first China-made Model 3

Tesla delivered the first China-made Model 3 at the Gigafactory 3 in Shanghai on Monday.

The first owners of the Tesla Model 3 made in China were 15 Tesla employees.

Tesla's Model 3 Standard Endurance Upgraded (made in China) model with basic driver assistance features starts at RMB 355,800, and the first delivery is expected before the end of January next year.

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the "Catalogue of New Energy Vehicle Models Exempted from Vehicle Purchase Tax (29th Batch)", and Model 3 produced by Tesla (Shanghai) is listed.
