The HMS Core 4.0 is about to be released and the core functions will be increased from 14 to 24, HMS operations manager of Huawei Consumer Cloud Service said at the HUAWEI Developer Groups event on December 27.
HMS Core 4.0 will be open to public testing recently, and developers will soon experience it.
Huawei account services, in-app payment services, advertising services and many other features have been added or enhanced in version 4.0. Ten capabilities, such as machine learning services, context-aware services, and dynamic label manager services, were opened to the world for the first time in version 4.0.
So, what new features are worth paying attention to in HMS Core 4.0?
Huawei Push Kit
The use of Huawei push services has grown rapidly. As of November 2019, the number of push service function access applications exceeded 38,000, and the daily message volume exceeded 30 billion.
Huawei push service helps developers reach users quickly and accurately through features such as precise push, more notification styles, and support for all terminals, improving user perception and activity.
It is worth mentioning that Huawei's precision push service has been implemented in three ways: subscription content, user tag combination, and scene timing. Content that users are not interested in is no longer full of screens.
Huawei Safety Detect & FIDO Privacy Service
HMS Core 4.0 security detection service (Safety Detect) can provide system integrity detection, application security detection, malicious URL detection, fake user detection and other multi-dimensional security detection capabilities to protect consumer privacy.
Based on the TEE trusted execution environment, the detection results cannot be tampered with in the TEE. Developers only need to integrate this Safety Detect SDK to use this open capability to protect applications from security threats.
At the same time, FIDO (Online Fast Authentication Service) provides more secure BioAuthn local biometric authentication and FIDO2 capabilities and provides developers with secure and easy-to-use password-free authentication services.
