HMS Core is here! Huawei explains Scan Kit-CnTechPost

In a series of articles "HMS Core is Here," Huawei on Friday explained in detail the Scan Kit, a unified scanning service.

Huawei's unified Scan Kit service can provide professional two-dimensional code and barcode scanning and parsing capabilities. Through the integration of the Scan Kit, it can help applications quickly build code scanning functions.

Scan Kit supports 13 mainstream code system recognitions worldwide. According to Huawei, Scan Kit covers almost all kinds of QR codes and barcodes that are visible in daily life and the recognition success rate is more than 96%.

It can automatically detect long-distance codes and small codes and automatically enlarge them to improve the user's application scanning success rate.

Scan Kit is based on automatic detection and rotation correction capabilities, which allows users to scan codes from any angle, improving the flexibility and recognition rate of application code scanning.

Scan Kit is based on a number of computer vision technologies (CV), which can identify and enhance in various difficult scenarios such as low light, reflection, distortion, blurring, defacement, color and special morphology codes, and multiple codes.

Scan Kit also has code content analysis capabilities. Synchronize the structured information and applicable scenarios of the code during scanning to help the APP quickly provide users with corresponding services, including connecting to Wi-Fi, adding contacts, adding schedules, and querying locations, etc., covering up to 12 lifestyle scenarios.

According to Huawei, developers can choose four different access modes according to their needs. Among them, the default view mode requires a minimum of 5 lines of code to achieve rapid integration.

At the same time, the process of code identification and analysis is completed on the end side, and the scanned code information is not saved to ensure user privacy and security.
