OPPO released OPPO Reno3 and OPPO Reno3 Pro 5G series phones on Friday with the Reno3 Pro equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset and Reno3 equipped with MediaTek's Dimensity 1000L.
OPPO announced at the event that it will launch the first mobile phone equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 1000 flagship chip next year.
According to MediaTek, Dimensity 1000 is the world's fastest 5G single chip, the world's first support for 5G dual carrier aggregation, the world's first support for 5G dual-card dual standby, and the world's first 5G SoC with integrated Wi-Fi 6.
Dimensity 1000 uses a 7nm process technology. The CPU uses 4 cores + 4 small core architectures, including 4 2.6GHz A77 cores and 4 2.0GHz A55 cores. Compared with the previous generation, the performance is increased by 20%.
The GPU is a 9-core Mali G77, which is 40% faster than the previous generation G76.
Dimensity 1000 is equipped with a new APU architecture, which uses 2 large cores + 3 small cores + 1 micro core. Compared with the previous generation, the performance is improved by 2.5x, and the energy efficiency is increased by 40%.
Dimensity 1000 is also the world's fastest 5G single chip, supporting 5G dual-mode, dual-carrier aggregation 5G chips, supporting 5G + 5G dual-card dual standby, SA independent networking in the Sub-6GHz band and NSA non-unique networking, and 2G to 5G. Generation cellular network connection;
Dimensity 1000 supports the latest Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1+ standards. Both downlink and uplink speeds provide more than 1Gbps network throughput.
Dimensity 1000 has a 5-core ISP (Image Signal Processor) that supports 32 MP + 16 MP dual camera combination and 4K @ 60 fps video and multi-frame video HDR recording. In terms of display, Dimensity 1000 supports FHD + display up to 120Hz and 2K + at 90Hz Display and 4K resolution in 60 frames Google AV1 format.
The first terminal equipped with Dimensity 1000 will be mass-produced in the first quarter of 2020.
