Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 has passed India BIS certification

After the leak of the real photo of Samsung Galaxy Fold 2, this vertical folding phone has recently passed the BIS certification of the Indian regulator.

A well-known source Sudhanshu Ambhore (@Sudhanshu1414) wrote in a recent tweet: "Many upcoming #Samsung devices have gained BIS certification-Galaxy A11 (SM-A115F), Galaxy M11 (SM-M115F), Galaxy Fold 2! (SM-F700F) & mysterious SM-A465F. "

On the Indian BIS certification website, Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 ("SM-F700F"), Samsung Galaxy M11 ("SM-M115F") and Samsung Galaxy A11 ("SM-A115F") have all passed certification and they are expected to be released in early 2020.

It is worth noting that Sudhanshu Ambhore mentioned a Samsung mystery model with the model number "SM-A465F", and no specific configuration information is currently known.

On Saturday, Max Weinbach (@MaxWinebach) of XDA said that the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 still has creases and is horizontal, which indicates that the phone's display may still be plastic. Users can end a phone call by slamming the phone shut.

Rumors say Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 price may be less than $1,000

He also said that his source confirmed the US carriers will have a "F700U" model. There is a small LED display that shows time, date, and battery information. It has dual rear cameras and a front camera.

In terms of price, Max Weinbach revealed that it may be under $1,000, which may mean that the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 foldable phone will use mid-range specifications and cameras.
