As Samsung's first foldable phone the Galaxy Fold just hit the market, more information is coming out about its predecessor-- the Galaxy Fold 2. Today, Max Weinbach (@MaxWinebach) of XDA released some new content about this device.
Weinbach said that the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 still has creases and is horizontal, which indicates that the phone's display may still be plastic. Users can end a phone call by slamming the phone shut.
He also said that his source confirmed the US carriers will have a "F700U" model. There is a small LED display that shows time, date, and battery information. It has dual rear cameras and a front camera.
In terms of price, Max Weinbach revealed that it may be under $1,000, which may mean that the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 foldable phone will use mid-range specifications and cameras.
The capacity of its battery may not be optimistic, but it can certainly have a 25W charging function.
According to previous images posted by a well-known digital blogger @็ๅฅๅฎ, the Galaxy Fold 2 is a lot like Motorola's Razr 2019, with a small screen on the back showing time and power, and a raised dual camera on the right.
After the expansion, there will be an ultra-long proportion screen with a punch camera on the top, and the bezel thickness will be much narrower than Motorola's Razr 2019.
