The past decade is the era of the "Internet economy" and in the next decade the "smart" will become the label of the Chinese economy, Robin Li , Baidu founder, chairman and CEO said at an event on Saturday.
The differences between the two economic forms will appear in many aspects such as human-computer interaction, industrial intelligence, and infrastructure, he said.
Robin Li believes that with the development of the smart economy, people's dependence on mobile phones will gradually decrease in the future and will be replaced by new forms of terminals such as ubiquitous smart screens and smart speakers.
Artificial intelligence will also promote industrial intelligence and change production methods. For example, through robotic process automation, intelligent customer service, and digital human employees, while improving efficiency, it also frees corporate employees from repetitive tasks.
Robin Li also pointed out that in the future, including education, medical care, transportation, etc., infrastructure in almost every area will undergo major changes.
Taking traffic as an example, he pointed out that even if vehicles are not yet intelligent and connected, through the reconstruction of traffic infrastructure such as traffic lights and roadside equipment, traffic efficiency can be greatly improved, and traffic accidents can be reduced.
