Huawei Wallet will work with BYD DiLink to release mobile phone NFC car keys, EVzhidao quoted industry sources as saying.
This function will appear for the first time on BYD Song Pro models. After the BYD owner activates the car key function, he unlocks and locks the vehicle by swiping Huawei/Honor mobile phone in the left and right side mirror of the car.
The car can be unlocked successfully even when the phone's battery is low, and it also supports starting the vehicle through Huawei/Honor phone.
The NFC function of the car key follows the CCC specifications of the Global Connected Car Alliance. The key and algorithm logic are stored in the mobile phone chip and will not be accessed by third-party applications. Users do not need to worry about being copied or brute-forced, the report said.
After the car key function is online, it will also support the "Smart Flash Card" function of Huawei Wallet. The "Smart Flash Card" function enables the mobile phone NFC to realize the entire process of intelligent identification, situational awareness, and automatic matching through the combination of AI.
When using the Huawei Wallet Card, users do not need to open the app, swipe the card directly after turning off the screen, and awaken the corresponding card in a very short time, eliminating the tedious steps of manually finding a card and optimizing the user's mobile phone card experience
