Baidu Apollo held the first ecological conference in Changsha on Thursday, and released an upgraded version of Apollo 5.5, an open platform for autonomous driving, and two open platforms called vehicle-road collaboration and smart car alliance.
Apollo released 15 new products and solutions including point-to-point urban autonomous driving open capabilities, autonomous driving cloud, next-generation intelligent transportation solutions, and small-scale vehicle 2020.
Among them, the opening of Apollo's autonomous driving cloud can help auto companies to quickly conduct autonomous driving R&D and large-scale landing.
The Apollo car-road collaborative open platform consists of an edge intelligent base, a basic cloud service, and six applicable scenarios.
Its application scenarios include intelligent networked autonomous driving, intelligent networked assisted driving, traffic guidance and signal control, operating vehicle supervision, travel services, and intelligent parking.
Taking smart car-assisted driving as an example, it can create customizable driving assistance applications for different models, comprehensively improving traffic safety and travel efficiency.
According to reports, up to now, Apollo has 150 autonomous driving road test licenses, 1,237 intelligent driving patents, a test mileage of more than 3 million kilometers, 23 city road tests, 36,000 global developers, 177 ecological partners, Open sourced 560,000 lines of code.
Baidu's connected car and AI capabilities have covered 60 major car companies and more than 400 models.
Baidu Car Networking has fully opened up the small degree of car 2020, including full voice car intelligent applets, car voice customization, real-time wake-up multiple interactions, and vehicle-grade Baidu Hongye chip and other technical capabilities. Xiaoduo Vehicle 2020 further opened up the Xiaoduo Vehicle OS and launched an integrated solution, Xiaoduo Vehicle DAS.
Xiaodu Car 2020 also provides three forms such as smart cockpit, CarLife+, and Duxiao mirror, covering multiple ways of interaction between people and cars in the AI era.
