Tencent released its new generation of Koudaiyue e-reader on Monday. It uses a 5.2-inch ink screen and is equipped with 2GB of memory and 16GB of storage.
The device measures 145 × 75 × 8.5mm, weighs 130g, is equipped with a quad-core A53 CPU, has 36 reading lights and 284PPI screen pixel density, built-in 2000mAh battery, equipped with a Type-C interface, supports touch page turning and Page up and down physical keys.
It is equipped with a 64-bit operating system, uses a new-generation Carta 2 ink screen, and uses 2.5D AG process glass optical technology to improve the paper effect.
In addition, it supports 4G mobile card/data card networking, supports calling, text messaging and WiFi networking, and can switch flight modes with one click.
Koudaiyue is directly connected to Tencent Reading Group's book resource library. Between Koudaiyue and the mobile QQ reading app, you can synchronize bookshelves, accounts, and reading progress across platforms.
Koudaiyue also supports the function of importing local books via Bluetooth or USB, and has strengthened the support of third-party applications in the application system.
It can independently select the refresh mode, and supports more reading apps including WeChat reading.
The device is priced at CNY 1,099.
