The gap between Samsung and Huawei's smartphone market share is getting smaller from 5.9% in 2018 to 3.6% this year, according to a report from Strategy Analytics.
According to the report, global shipments of Samsung mobile phones in 2019 were 323 million, with a market share of 23.1%. Huawei shipped 251 million mobile phones worldwide, accounting for 17.7% of the market, an increase from 14.4% last year. Apple's iPhone shipped 193 million units worldwide, with a market share of 13.6%.
