Xiaomi takes top spot in TV shipments in China-CnTechPost

TV shipments in China in the first three quarters were 34.6 million units, a year-on-year decrease of 2.8%, according to the data research organization Sigmaintell.

Xiaomi ranked first, followed by Skyworth, Hisense, TCL, Changhong, Haier, Konka, Philips, Sharp, Sony and Samsung.

Xiaomi's TV shipments in China in the first three quarters were 6.6 million units, a year-on-year increase of 59.1%.

Skyworth shipped 5.8 million units, a year-on-year increase of 7.8%. Hisense's shipments were 5.26 million units, a decrease of 1.4% year-on-year. Sony shipped 580,000 units, a year-on-year decrease of 12.3%. Samsung has 500,000 units, down 26% year-on-year.
