Huawei Mate30 Pro 5G gets EMUI10.171 update, optimizes wireless charging-CnTechPost

Huawei Mate30 Pro 5G has received the EMUI 10.0.0.171 update, which optimizes the wireless charging strategy.

The new update also fixed system stability issues, including the possibility of a black screen in VR scenes, a low probability of restarting when the screen โ€™s virtual volume is adjusted.

Here is the changelog:

  • Fixed the problem that the small alarm clock could not be turned off in some scenarios;
  • Fix the problem that the application may not respond when clicked in the application avatar scene;
  • Fixed the problem of no ringtone when receiving SMS in certain scenarios;
  • Fixed the possibility of black screen of mobile phone in VR scene;
  • Fixed a low probability restart problem when adjusting the screen-off virtual volume;
  • Optimize wireless charging strategy.

However, soon after this Huawei Mate30 Pro 5G received another important patch fix, with a size of 9.25MB. The update optimized the system stability in some scenarios, and users are recommended to update.

The Huawei Mate 30 Pro uses a 6.53-inch OLED ring screen, is equipped with a Kirin 990 5G processor, supports SA and NSA 5G dual-mode, and has a built-in 4500mAh battery.

The Kirin 990 5G chip that it is equipped with natively integrates 5G baseband, has lower power consumption, and is significantly ahead in antenna design and radio frequency. Mobile phone products from other manufacturers with integrated 5G baseband SoCs will not be available until at least early next year.

Kirin 990 5G is the industry's first flagship 5G SoC chip. It has the best 5G, the best AI, and the best performance. It is the first to use 7nm + EUV extreme ultraviolet lithography to build and integrate up to 10.3 billion transistors.

Today, Huawei announced that the 8GB + 128GB version of the Huawei Mate30 Pro 5G will start pre-sale at 00:00 on December 12th, and officially launched at 10:08 on December 18th, priced at 6399 yuan.

There are two versions of Huawei Mate30 5G and Mate30 Pro 5G currently on sale.

Among them, Mate30 5G starts at 8GB + 128GB (4999 yuan), up to 8GB + 256GB (5499 yuan); Mate30 Pro 5G starts at 8GB + 256GB (6899 yuan), up to 8GB + 512GB (7899 yuan).

The addition of the new version further enriches the choice of Mate30 Pro 5G, and at the same time lowers the threshold for entry.
