It seems Alipay has been hit with malfunctioning Wednesday afternoon.

When accessing the Alipay APP this afternoon, users in some areas are prompted with the notification "System is busy, please wait for a while. The system is busy, please test later."

Neither Alipay points nor transfer function can be used, and some users also reported that they could not log in.

Some users say verification code for logging in is very slow to receive, Taobao Express login is invalid. In addition, users cannot perform operations such as payment and transfer when shopping.

However, cnTechPost editors tested Alipay on their mobile phones and everything seems to be normal.

It's unclear how many users are affected.
