Redmi is about to have its own Xiao Ai smart speaker.
A new product of Redmi has recently passed China’s 3C certification, with information showing that its name is "Redmi Xiao Ai Speaker" and "Redmi Xiao Ai Speaker Play".
This is consistent with the information previously disclosed on Weibo by Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi China region and general manager of Redmi, who said at the time: "There are other IoT products released with K30 ..."
Xiao Ai Speaker is a smart speaker product launched by Xiaomi in 2017. It was jointly developed by Xiaomi TV, Xiaomi Brain, and Xiaomi Discovery Lab.
Lu Weibing stated that Xiaomi had proposed a “mobile phone + AIoT” dual-engine strategy early on, and established a 1 + 4 + N IoT category strategy. Four of them include TVs, notebooks, routers and smart speakers, and X is an ecological chain product.
Now that Redmi has covered TV, notebook and other categories, the next step will be to complete the router and smart speakers.
Lu Weibing said that after running independently, Redmi also launched its own ecological chain strategy and expanded its categories to notebooks, televisions, and household appliances.
Lu Weibing said on November 29 that there are other IoT products to be released with K30. At present, except for mobile phones, there are relatively few other IoT products with the Redmi brand.
Earlier this month, Lu Weibing announced that the Redmi K30 series of phones will be officially released on December 10. This is also Redmi's first 5G mobile phone that supports SA / NSA dual-mode 5G.
In terms of core specifications, the Redmi K30 will use a front dual punch design, and the processor will be equipped with the new 5G mobile platform of the Snapdragon 7 series.
According to the 3C certification information, there are currently 4 Xiaomi 5G mobile phones that have passed the certification, one of which supports 66W fast charging; these four phones should include Redmi K30 series mobile phones.
A video from Slash Leaks showed the Redmi K30 will use MediaTek chipset and the price will be under $500, making it the cheapest 5G phones yet.
More Xiaomi Speakers Coming
In addition to Redmi, Xiaomi also has four new Xiaoai speakers certified.
As can be seen from the certification information, at least one of them is a touch screen version. The specific information and release date are yet to be officially announced.
It is understood that the latest Xiaoai speaker new product was officially released in September this year, there are two versions of Xiaoai speaker and Xiaoai speaker Pro.
Xiaoai speakers have a white design, and Xiaoai speakers Pro have a black design. Both are equipped with Hi-Fi audio processing chips, have a 360-degree sound field and professional DTS tuning, and support stereo combination and nearby wake-up functions.
Xiaomi Xiaoai Speaker and Xiaoai Speaker Pro use a 750mL large sound cavity, a 360-degree surround sound field design, and a 2.25-inch high-end speaker unit. Both are equipped with Texas Instruments professional audio processing chip TAS5805, which supports automatic gain control and 15-band sound equalization adjustment.
