Xiaomi’s virtual assistant Xiao Ai goes back online after experiencing crashed servers this afternoon.

When users wake up Xiao Ai on their phones, the feedback is “You get me! Xiao Ai is time out.” There are text messages noting “network service timeout, please check the network status or try again later.”

Responding to this Xiao Ai team said that engineers are working on the issue and will resume service as soon as possible. “We apologize for any inconvenience caused!”

Around 8:30 pm, the team announced the service is back online.
