The OnePlus 6 was released in May 2018 and the 6T in November last year. As devices that’s been around for more than one year, it’s a little bit old but still gets the latest Android 10 update in a prompt manner.
OnePlus began rolling out the stable OxygenOS 10.0 to both OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T on Saturday, bringing stable Android 10 update to the two devices.

The update brought all the Android 10 features you can expect such as Share Wi-Fi which allows you to connect to a Wi-Fi network by simply scanning a QR code.
There is also new customization available for notifications that allows you to set which notifications are silent and which alert you.
Besides those features the OxygenOS 10 update for the 6T also includes the company's Game Space feature and the "Contextual display" ambient display feature.

- Upgraded to Android 10.
- Brand new UI design.
- Enhanced location permissions for privacy.
- New customization feature in Settings allowing you to choose icon shapes to be displayed in the Quick Settings.
- General bug fixes and improvements.
Full-Screen Gestures
- Added inward swipes from the left or right edge of the screen to go back.
- Added a bottom navigation bar to allow switching left or right for recent apps.
Game Space
- New Game Space feature now joins all your favorite games in one place for easier access and better gaming experience.
Contextual Display
- Intelligent info based on specific times, locations and events for Ambient Display (Settings – Display – Ambient Display – Contextual Display).
Message
- Now possible to block spam by keywords for Message (Messages – Spam – Settings – Blocking settings).
The timing met with the best-case scenario for the company's initially projected roadmap, which claimed the OnePlus 6T and 6 would get Android 10 sometime in November.
OnePlus promised in September that it would roll out Android 10 by month's end. The open beta was released last month.
OnePlus has two custom OS based on Android, with the HydrogenOS facing Chinese customers and OxygenOS for global customers.
