With newly released phones running the latest Android 10-based system, OnePlus is now rolling out the upgrade to the older OnePlus 6 and 6T.
OnePlus announced on Saturday the rollout of Open Beta 1 which brings Android 10 to OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T.
The update includes new UI design and location permissions for the OnePlus 6 and 6T. It also comes with full-screen gestures that allow inward swipes from the left or right edge of the screen to go back.
A new feature called Game Space was also included, offering quick access to all your games and options like Fnatic Mode and Graphic Optimization in one place.
OnePlus unveiled the OnePlus 7T Pro at a launch event in London.
This upgrade is as expected by OnePlus users.
The company unveiled the OnePlus 7T Pro at a launch event in London last week, when its co-founder Carl Pei announced that OnePlus would push the Oxygen OS 10 update to all OnePlus devices since the OnePlus 5.
The OnePlus 6 and 6T should see the update arrive this month while 5 and 5T users can expect Oxygen OS 10 sometime in Q2 of 2020.
Those who are enrolled in the beta program will receive the Open Beta 1 through an OTA. But note this beta build is only for the unlocked, non-carrier variants of OnePlus 6 and 6T.
