On October 22, users of the Xiaomi Mi 9T received, via an update, the new version of the personalized layer of the Chinese brand, MIUI 11.

A new version of the popular user interface that a lot of users are waiting for. But, as you may know, the updates may take a few days to receive all users in all countries, even after the official release by the company.

Now, we will tell you about a trick that we could apply to get the updates faster. But first, take a look at this list of devices that are already receiving MIUI 11, and if your device is one of them, then continue reading the following.

Here are the devices that will be updated by the end of October.

POCOPHONE F1, Redmi Y3, Redmi Note 7S, Redmi 7, Redmi 7A, Xiaomi Mi 8, Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, Redmi K20, Xiaomi Mi 9T, Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s.

If your mobile is on the list and has not yet updated to MIUI 11, try these little tricks that can force the update.

First, enter the settings of your terminal and click on โ€˜About phoneโ€™.

Then, go to โ€˜System Updatesโ€™ and wait for the screen to update. If it tells you that there are no updates available, do not worry. Keep trying by pressing the โ€˜check for updatesโ€™ button several times. This happened to me personally and I had to press the update button up to three times.

Second, if itโ€™s not working, we have to change the region of your mobile to another country, for example, India. In the mobile settings, in the search bar, we type the โ€˜regionโ€™ (without the quotes) and a result will appear.

We click on it and, within the list of cities and countries in the world, we choose โ€˜Indiaโ€™. This procedure is totally safe. Next, we return to the โ€˜About phoneโ€™ section and perform the same action again, updating.

You also have at your disposal an application developed by third parties called Downmiย with which you can access the latest stable ROM version of your Xiaomi phone.

You just have to find the model of your terminal. Then click on โ€˜Global Stableโ€™ and then download it to your phone. Once you have downloaded it, we proceed to install it as follows.

First, we will copy and paste the downloaded ROM into the โ€˜downoladed_romโ€™ folder using a file manager. We can use the one that comes default on your Xiaomi mobile. Then, we go again to the โ€˜About this phoneโ€™ section .

And in โ€˜System updateโ€™ we press a few times on the logo until a small temporary warning appears. Then, click on the three-point menu and choose โ€˜Select update packageโ€™.

We look for the โ€˜Downloaded_romโ€™ folder and select the ROM that we have previously downloaded.
