- UBTech has signed an agreement with Siemens to help the robot maker achieve its goal of mass-producing more than 10,000 industrial humanoid robots in 2026.
- Market demand for humanoid robots has continued to grow this year, leading to a significant increase in orders, according to UBTech.

Chinese robot maker UBTech Robotics has entered into a strategic partnership with Siemens to jointly advance the large-scale production of industrial humanoid robots.
The move is designed to help UBTech accelerate its goal of achieving an annual production capacity of more than 10,000 robots, according to a company statement on Monday.
Siemens will provide UBTech with digital industrial software solutions covering product research, design, and manufacturing, the statement said.
The collaboration will help UBTech streamline the digital workflow between its R&D and manufacturing processes, improving overall production efficiency and product quality.
Market demand for humanoid robots has continued to unleash this year, bringing a significant increase in orders, UBTech CEO Zhou Jian said at the signing ceremony.
The strategic partnership with Siemens is a key measure to ensure UBTech achieves its mass production target of 10,000 units in 2026, Zhou said.
UBTech is one of China's largest humanoid robot manufacturers. In July 2025, the company launched the Walker S2, an industrial humanoid robot that supports autonomous battery swapping. The model can complete a battery change within three minutes without manual intervention or powering down, enabling 24/7 uninterrupted operation.
