- Zhipu has officially rolled out AutoClaw, an AI tool supporting one-click local deployment of OpenClaw on personal computers.
- The launch intensifies competition in China's desktop AI market, following recent product releases by ByteDance, Tencent, and Alibaba.

Chinese AI company Zhipu has officially launched AutoClaw, a local version of OpenClaw that comes pre-installed with over 50 popular skills.
Zhipu announced the desktop AI agent on Tuesday, stating that AutoClaw makes installing OpenClaw as simple as downloading a regular application for the first time. It supports one-click installation on both macOS and Windows operating systems.
The company is offering users a certain free quota to experience the capabilities at zero cost. Meanwhile, AutoClaw features fully open model integration, supporting multiple models including DeepSeek.
The software is now equipped with Pony-Alpha-2, an exclusive model deeply optimized by Zhipu for OpenClaw scenarios. Its beta version is currently open for trial to select users, with an official release coming soon.
AutoClaw also integrates Zhipu's in-house developed browser-use capabilities, enabling it to stably complete multi-step and cross-page complex browser tasks.
Zhipu's latest release marks its official entry into the intensifying desktop AI race among Chinese tech giants, aiming to further promote the democratization of artificial intelligence.
ByteDance's Volcano Engine launched ArkClaw on Monday, an out-of-the-box, cloud-based SaaS OpenClaw platform.
In addition, Tencent launched its OpenClaw-compatible application WorkBuddy on Monday, and Alibaba fully opened its AI agent QoderWork last Tuesday.
Market competition in the desktop AI sector is becoming increasingly fierce as these Chinese tech giants roll out new products designed to lower the barrier to entry for everyday users.
