Chinese general-purpose intelligent robotics company AI² Robotics has completed a Series B funding round exceeding RMB 1 billion ($145 million).

Chinese media outlet Jiemian first reported the funding on Monday, noting AI² Robotics' valuation has officially surpassed RMB 10 billion.

Investors in this round include Baidu Venture, CRRC Capital, Cedarlake Capital, Guotai Haitong Securities, multiple regional funds, and a publicly listed company within Tesla's supply chain.

AI² Robotics has completed 12 funding raises within the past year — including seven raises totaling hundreds of millions in the first half of 2025 alone. The Series B round saw five additional funding raises, making it the world's fastest-paced embodied intelligence company in terms of funding, Jiemian noted.

This rapid funding pace reflects the capital market's high enthusiasm for the humanoid robotics sector and positions AI² Robotics as a standout among peers.

Founded in April 2023 by Guo Yandong, AI² Robotics focuses on the R&D and mass production of AGI-native general-purpose intelligent robots.

Enabling robots to handle tasks that people don't want to do is the publicly said vision of AI² Robotics.

The company's core product, the AlphaBot series, is powered by its in-house developed embodied large model Alpha Brain and has achieved commercial deployment in semiconductor manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, and biotechnology sectors.

In the automotive manufacturing sector, AI² Robotics signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor in June 2025.

The AlphaBot 2, equipped with its GOVLA (Global & Omni-body Vision-Language-Action) model, has officially entered automotive factories to handle tasks including labeling, assembly, and logistics transportation.

Unitree founder Wang Xingxing forecasts global humanoid robot shipments will reach tens of thousands in 2026, with Unitree targeting 10,000 to 20,000 units.
