Chinese search engine and AI giant Baidu launched its campus recruitment for the class of 2022 college graduates on August 12, opening up 8,000 positions in technology, product and design fields.
Baidu said this is the largest campus recruitment ever. Compared with last year, the positions this year are more diversified, with new job opportunities including chip development, human resources, integrated marketing, public communication, business research and analysis, it said.
In addition to Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen, Baidu has also opened up job opportunities in cities such as Guangzhou and Chengdu. It also launched its high-end campus talent program for management trainees, technical and product elites.
Baidu has stepped up its campus recruitment efforts for high-end AI talent this year, with the "management trainee" program launched last year set to start again.
Baidu will conduct 14 online presentations from September to mid-October, including 4 online job sites, 7 online regional sites, 1 online comprehensive site and 2 online overseas sites.
Baidu is the latest Chinese tech giant to launch large-scale campus recruiting.
Last Friday, Tencent's 2022 fall campus recruitment was officially launched, offering over 7,000 positions, an increase of over 40 percent from last year.
Tencent is opening up five categories of positions for 2022 graduates this year, including technology, product, design, marketing and functional positions.
Earlier this month, Meituan, China's lifestyle services e-commerce platform, launched campus recruitment in dozens of cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and Shenzhen.
Alibaba launched its campus recruitment for the class of 2022 on July 19, opening 113 positions, including 45 positions for the first time for fresh graduates, which Alibaba also called its largest campus recruitment ever.
