Beijing-based ByteDance is reportedly looking to sell TikTok's Indian business to local rival Glance, Bloomberg said, citing people familiar with the matter.
The discussions, initiated by Japan's SoftBank Group, are private and are still in the early stages, the people familiar with the matter said.
Glance's parent company InMobi owns the short video app Roposo, which became hugely popular after TikTok was banned in India in July last year.
