Meizu enters smart home market, will release new products on Jan 5-CnTechPost

Chinese smartphone maker Meizu today announced that its Lipro brand of smart home products will be released on January 5, 2021, revisiting the essence of the smart home and tracing the origins of the product experience.

On November 18, 2020, Meizu registered a number of Lipro trademarks, covering interior design, landscape lighting design services, electric door openers, electric door closers, laundry drying racks, biometric fingerprint door locks and more.

The Meizu building has recently changed its vertical banner from the previous Meizu 17 poster to "Lipro, Welcome".

On December 21, Huawei released the smart home ALL IN ONE solution, covering lighting system, security system, air system, water system, music system, perception system.

Huawei consumer business CEO Richard Yu said that the existing smart home is mostly fake intelligence, Huawei solution will reconstruct the traditional network, experience, ecology and channels in the field of smart home.

Huawei launched the whole house smart host has the characteristics of high integration, modularity, intelligence and expandability, he said, adding that Huawei pioneered the medium band power line carrier communication technology PLC-IoT exceeds Zigbee in terms of transmission speed, distance and reliability.
