GitHub mobile app now supports Simplified Chinese

GitHub announced on September 29 that it has added support for multiple languages, including Simplified Chinese, to its GitHub Mobile app.

The GitHub App now supports Simplified Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, and Spanish.

GitHub said, "Now, more developers can readily use the language of their choice to manage tasks, provide feedback, respond to questions, and review and merge pull requests."

GitHub, a hosting platform for open source and private software projects, was launched on April 10, 2008.

On June 4, 2018, Microsoft announced that it was acquiring the code hosting platform GitHub in a $7.5 billion stock deal.
