Huawei has launched back to school promotion in China where qualified teachers and students can enjoy exclusive discounts when purchasing designated products at Huawei Mall.
Students, faculty and staff of colleges and universities in the Chinese mainland can enter Huawei Mall [Personal Center], bind the edu email address, and enjoy the discounted price.
Students who have just completed Gaokao can go to Huawei Mall education shopping channel and enter Gaokao admit card number or Student ID number and upload a photo of Gaokao's pass or student ID, which will be processed within 24 hours. After approval they will get exclusive student coupons.
Huawei said those qualified can save up to 800 yuan ($114) in the promotion, which cover a wide range of products including phones, tablets and laptops.
One week ago, Apple launched its annual back to school promotion in China providing qualifying higher education students and educators with free AirPods when purchasing an eligible Mac or iPad.
Second-generation AirPods with a wired charging case ($159) are available when purchasing designated devices. During checkout, customers can choose to upgrade to a wireless charging case for the AirPods or the AirPods Pro for an additional fee.
