Vingroup, Vietnam's largest listed company, announced on Monday that it has partnered with US-based Qualcomm to produce the country's first 5G smartphone -- the Vsmart Aris 5G.
The company said the phone comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G 5G chip and a Quantum Security chip.
It also has a Super-AMOLED 6.39-inch screen, 8GB of memory and 4000 mAh battery.
The company did not reveal when it plans to bring the phone to the market and how many it plans to produce.
Vingroup announced plans to produce Vietnam's first 5G smartphone at the end of June last year, when it was expected that the phone would be available from the Sales in Europe and the US began in April this year.
