Tencent invests in 60 companies in first half of the year

In the first half of the year, Tencent made public nearly 60 investment cases, investing in one company every three days on average.

Earlier this year, Tencent president Martin Lau said the company has invested in more than 800 cases, including more than 160 unicorns, and more than 70 listed companies.

In June alone, Tencent invested in VPM, TechTek, game developer Bohemia Interactive, Nessie's Tea (rumored), Warner Bros. Music Group, streaming service Iflix, and the amounts of investment are huge.
