Huawei's 66W charger certified, expected to be adopted by Mate 40 series

Two Huawei power adapters have received 3C certification in China, a 65W GaN adapter and a 66W charger possibly for the Mate 40 series, according to digital blogger @็œ‹ๅฑฑ็š„ๅ”ๅ”.

Huawei Consumer Business CEO Richard Yu unveiled Huawei's Superfast GaN dual-port charger with a maximum charging power of 65W at the Huawei P40 series China launch event.

The Huawei Super Fast Charge GaN dual-port charger is a dual-port Super Fast Charge where the USB-C port supports the standard PD protocol.

Regarding the other 66W charger, the digital blogger believes that it is compatible with 40W, which the Huawei Mate 40 series will come with.

The Huawei Mate 40 series is expected to be powered by the Kirin 1020 processor, with a 90Hz refresh rate screen. The Mate 40 Pro will also have a notch and support face recognition.
