The Huawei Mate Watch will be the first smartwatch powered by the Harmony OS and it will be released alongside the Mate 40 series, according to famous leaker Teme (@RODENT950) on Twitter.

Previously, Huawei has filed a trademark application for the "Mate Watch". This means that Huawei should be planning to develop a new line of smartwatches.
According to the application, "Mate Watch" belongs to the International Classification 9, which covers computers and other electronic devices. The application submission date is May 6, 2020.
