Huawei reportedly working with BYD to explore using Kirin chips for cars-CnTechPost

Following the 5G communication chip and HiCar screen casting solution, Huawei's heavyweight product, the Kirin chip, also has a clear intention to get on the cars.

Huawei is exploring landing applications for its Kirin chip in the automotive digital cockpit, the first product is the Kirin 710A, which has seen the signing of a partnership agreement with BYD, 36Kr cites sources close to Huawei Consumer BG and BYD executives.

The Kirin chip is a mobile phone chip developed by Huawei HiSilicon, and is currently only available for Huawei and Honor mobile phones.

Regarding the above news, BYD official said no information to disclose for the time being.

Not long ago, BYD announced that its new model - Han will use Huawei's 5G module MH5000, which is Based on the 5G chip Balong 5000 developed by Huawei.

Prior to this, Huawei Consumer BG and BYD also collaborated on mobile phone NFC car key, HiCar mobile phone screen casting solution.
