Google released Android 11 Beta 1 yesterday, and now OnePlus, in addition to OPPO, and Xiaomi, have also announced that their OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro can be upgraded with Android 11 Beta 1.
The current version is only available for OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, do not attempt to install it on OnePlus 6, OnePlus 6T, OnePlus 7 or OnePlus 7T.
Please ensure that the battery is at least 30% over and that you have at least 3GB of free space before installing.
The following is a list of known issues with Android 11 on the OnePlus 8 series.
- All data will be erased.
- Cannot use face unlock
- The Google Assistant ("OK Google") does not work!
- Video calls don't work.
- Bug-prone UI
- Some applications may not work properly
- System stability issues
