Vivo starts using Beijing R&D Center

Vivo today announced the opening of the Vivo Beijing R&D Center.

Headquartered in Dongguan, China, Vivo's R&D centers cover 9 cities including Shenzhen, Dongguan, Nanjing, Beijing, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Taipei, Tokyo, Japan and San Diego, covering cutting-edge fields such as 5G communications and artificial intelligence.

The Vivo Beijing R&D Center is located in the Electronics City-IT Industrial Park on the inner side of the East 5th Ring Road, next to the famous 798 Art District in Beijing.

It is a seven-story office building with a floor area of 17,000 square meters.

It is larger than Vivo's R&D center in Meilin, Shenzhen, with a total capacity of 1,000 employees.
