Huawei Watch GT 2 gets system update with new remote phot-taking feature

Huawei Watch GT 2 smartwatch has received firmware update v1.0.7.16, bringing custom sports and remote phot-taking function. It also optimized the system stability.

Huawei Watch GT 2 updates need to be transmitted via the Sports Health App, keeping the device charged to more than 20% before the update.

The Huawei Watch GT 2 was officially unveiled at the Munich launch last September, with the Huawei Mate 30 series of phones to be released at the same time.

The Huawei Watch GT 2 is equipped with the new Kirin A1 chip, which supports BT/BLE dual-mode Bluetooth 5.1 standard for ultra-fast Bluetooth data transfer.

The Huawei Watch GT 2 has components such as a speaker and microphone that allow users to make Bluetooth calls via the smartwatch, while the Huawei Watch GT 2's built-in storage has been upgraded to store up to 200 songs.

The Huawei Watch GT 2 has a range of 2 weeks on the 46mm model and 1 week on the 42mm model.

The Huawei Watch GT 2 adds a variety of sports modes, as well as support for underwater monitoring, scientific sleep and more.
