Google delayed the release of Android 11 Beta because the company felt it was not the right time to celebrate as massive protests erupted in the US.
This follows an announcement from Google that the beta version of Android 11 will be released on June 3 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET and is expected to be streamed live on the Google Developers website, but the company has decided to delay the event.
In a tweet Friday night, the Android Developers account said, "We are excited to tell you more about Android 11, but now is not the time to celebrate."
Google said that more features of Android 11 will be announced "soon", but did not say when.
โWe are postponing the June 3rd event and beta release. We'll be back with more on Android 11, soon,โ the company said.

While Google doesn't explicitly say why, the reason is clear.
Protests, looting and arson erupted in many US cities in the Bay Area, where Google and most of its employees are located, and major clashes occurred in San Jose and Oakland the night Google issued notice of the incident.
