Previously on April 17, Huami had revealed that the Xiaomi Band 5, a joint effort between Huami and Xiaomi, will be available later this year. As the release time is getting closer, various news about Xiaomi Band 5 is coming one after the other.
Recently, a Twitter user has exposed several new features of Xiaomi Band 5.
First up is camera control, and judging by the exposed shutter animation, the Xiaomi Band 5 will support control of the phone to take pictures, which is the first time the Xiaomi Band has introduced this feature.
This is followed by the addition of five new exercise modes - yoga, elliptical, rowing machine, jump rope and indoor cycling - which also brings its total number of exercise modes to 11.
The Xiaomi Band 5 adds an analog dial, previously the Xiaomi Band only supported digital dials, but the Xiaomi Band 5 has 2 analog dials built in, and there may be more in the future.
According to previous news, the Xiaomi Band 5 screen will be increased from 0.95 inch to 1.2 inch, adding oxygen saturation monitoring function, overseas models (XMSH11HM) support NFC, Amazon Alexa voice assistant and more.
