More Xiaomi TVs get support for video calls with mobile phones-CnTechPost

The Xiaomi TV's video calling feature was launched in December last year, with the first supported models being Xiaomi Full Screen TV Pro 55"/65" and Xiaomi TV 5 Pro 55"/65". Now, Xiaomi has made more TVs support this feature.

Today, Xiaomi TV and Redmi Smart TV "Video Calling" support model list was updated with 33 models supported.

The Xiaomi Full Screen TV Pro as small as 43 inches and the Redmi Smart TV Max as large as 98 inches are supported, with the rest of the models fitting in.

With the improvement of intelligent ecology, today's smart TVs are not only used to watch the film, but also can be seen as a giant screen of mobile phones.

Because of the widespread adoption of Android system, it can be installed with various APPs, and can also be interconnected with mobile phones.

How to make video calls between a phone and a Xiaomi TV:

  1. The TV must be equipped with a USB camera with microphone function.
  2. Video calls between TVs: enter My App - open the Video Call App - login Xiaomi account - dial the other party's device code - make video calls / switch voice calls.
  3. Video calls between TV and mobile phone: mobile phone needs to download "TV Superman APP" and dial the TV device code in the mobile phone APP to make a call.
  4. To make it easier to call, you can also call in the call log.
