A new drone from DJI is ready for release. This Matrice 300 RTK flight platform stands out with a flight time of 55 minutes.
Designed for commercial use, this new drone features the Zenmuse H20 series hybrid multi-sensor camera capable of transmitting full HD video from up to 9 miles away.
Meanwhile, the M300 RTK, which can support up to three payloads simultaneously and carry up to 5.95 pounds of items, features the Zenmuse H20 Series camera, an IP44-rated camera array that will be available in two formats.
The H20 has a 20-megapixel regular camera, a 23x hybrid optical zoom, a 12-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a laser rangefinder that can scan from 3 meters to 1200 meters.
The H20T, on the other hand, adds a 640ร512 radiant thermal imaging camera with a maximum of 30fps for heat measurement.
The M300 RTK can be controlled in the new Advanced Dual Operator mode, which gives equal flight control priority to both. This means that if one person loses connection or the software crashes, another pilot can step in immediately.
In addition, it can also be used for training. The M300 RTK has AES-256 encryption for its connection to the controller and a new OcuSync Enterprise transport system. This includes three channels of video with resolutions up to 1080p.
In addition to manual flight control, there is a new intelligent tracking system that allows users to mark areas of interest and send them to the drone's operator.
At the same time, the smart detection feature allows companies like those in the oil and gas industry to set waypoints for automated missions. This means that the M300 RTK automatically returns to the same location every time and compares scenes via AI, just in case. Meanwhile, Waypoints 2.0 supports up to 65535 locations.
The M300 RTK has an anti-collision beacon that supports IP45 protection, including battery heating, allowing the drone to operate at -4 degrees Fahrenheit.
The M300 RTK has a 6-directional sensing and positioning system that supports a horizontal detection range of up to 131 feet.
In addition, the M300 RTK APP has been completely revamped to make it easier to use, completing the natural switching between different cameras. For example, it will be able to shoot from all three cameras simultaneously.
The M300 RTK is not aimed at consumers, it will ship later this year and the price has not been announced.
