Amazfit, the manufacturer that has helped Xiaomi OEM a number of classic bands, will soon launch its "watch of the future" -- Amazfit X - in the second half of the year, which was unveiled as a concept machine in August last year, and now it has finally started mass production.
It is equipped with Amazfit's self-developed AI chip, which supports 24h ECG monitoring and can help users detect abnormalities in the body.
The Amazfit X features a 12.5mm ultra-high drop 3D curved glass with hidden pressure-sensitive buttons and an all-metal unibody design.
To make it fit better on the wrist, the internal battery is also designed with a curved design and has a range of up to 7 days on a single charge.
To achieve the visual effect of the super curvature, the official customized a 2.07-inch flexible curved screen with a maximum brightness of 430nit, with 326ppi, 100% NTSC color gamut coverage, the screen is 244% larger than the visual area of a normal hand ring.
The product officially hit indiegogo this month for crowdfunding, with an early bird price of $149 and official shipments expected in August.
This is not the first time that curved wearable devices have appeared, but previously the price of curved devices was generally prohibitive.
Amazfit brings curved wearable devices to the thousand dollar price point, which is more suitable for consumers to taste.
