Globally, the company sells the Redmi Note 9S, which is essentially identical to the Redmi Note 9 Pro, but without the global version of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max.

There are also rumors that Xiaomi's upcoming mid-range smartphone, the Redmi 10X, may be sold globally under the name Redmi Note 9.
