The open source operating system Ubuntu Kylin announced today that Ubuntu Kylin 20.04 LTS version (codename FocalFossa) was released.
Ubuntu Kylin 20.04 is the fourth long-term support (LTS) version after 14.04, 16.04, 18.04, providing 5 years of technical support.
The Ubuntu 20.04, Lubuntu 20.04, Xubuntu 20.04, Ubuntu Mate 20.04 and other open source distributions are also released recently.
Ubuntu Kylin 20.04 LTS version is equipped with the latest Linux 5.4 kernel and the new UKUI3.0 desktop environment preview version by default,
It supports x86 and ARM64 architectures, further optimizing the display effect of 4K HD screens and the stability of application components.
It adds the Kirin Cloud account function, unifies the identity authentication of Kirin platforms, and provides users with common configuration cloud synchronization functions.
The update also fixes 539 known issues such as the taskbar unable to preview minimized apps, file manager memory leaks, etc.
