Hisense releases color e-ink reading phones, priced from $225-CnTechPost

Hisense today announced the color e-ink reading phone A5C and A5Pro at the China Digital Reading Cloud Conference 2020.

The A5C and A5Pro's CC version use the latest typographic color e-paper technology, adding a layer of color filters to the original black and white ink screen.

This new type of color electronic paper technology can display 4,096 colors.

Color e-ink reading phone retains the minimalist desktop design, volume keys to turn pages, high-fidelity HIFI chip and other functions.

At the same time, the new reading does not disturb mode can define its own reading application. During the reading process, system notifications and social messages will be displayed in the form of floating windows.

In addition, Hisense also pioneered the full-screen page turning function.

The reading mobile phone continues to cooperate in depth with head content platforms such as Jingdong Reading, Migu Reading, iReader, QQ Reading, People Reading, Tencent Comics (introduced by A5Pro), and Comic Island (introduced by A5Pro).

Users can also download various social and news apps.

A5Pro has cc version and classic version, cc version is based on color ink screen design, classic version is based on black and white screen design.

A5C and A5Pro both use 5.84-inch screens. Among them, A5Pro continues the minimalist integrated 3D backplane arc design, and the surface of the fuselage uses the Baby-Skin texture paint spraying process.

A5C has three colors of black, white and blue, A5Pro has three colors of black, white and green.

A5Pro adopts UNISOC Tiger T610 processor, adds a speed refresh mode, the refresh time is only 136ms, it is also equipped with an independent speaker, adopts a dual SIM card + T card three choice two design scheme, and is equipped with Android10 system.

It supports fingerprint and NFC functions and is equipped with Type-C interface.

The A5C uses a 5.84-inch color ink screen and is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor.

It is equipped with 4GB of memory and 64GB of storage, priced at 1,699 yuan, will be available for sale at JD.com on April 29 at 10:00.

The A5Pro Classic Edition uses a 5.84-inch black and white ink screen and is equipped with a UNISOC Tiger T610 processor.

It has a built-in 4000mAh battery, is equipped with a Type-C charging interface, and supports 4G full Netcom.

It is equipped with a 13-megapixel camera on the rear, a 5-megapixel camera on the front, and is equipped with the Android 10 operating system.

It has 4GB Ram and 64GB storage, priced at 1,599 yuan (USD 225), will be pre-sale in JD.com on June 10.
